I’d planned to do some more writing on my own time again this year, which seems to be working out ok so far. It’s all terrible but I enjoy it, beats the crap out of ghost-writing project proposals anyway.
The Singularity Skepticism piece that I wrote up on SpaceCollective about a month ago got some good reviews on io9 & h+ magazine, and most hilariously (as far as I’m concerned) a very serious one at Accelerating Future. Thanks to the various reviewers, glad you enjoyed it.
Today though I GOT PAID. A ‘story‘ of mine was accepted by twitter fiction magazine Thaumatrope, and I made a straight buck twenty. Shit is crazy, I’m heading out now to see how much coke & hookers $1.20 will get me. This is going to be amazing, hopefully I can keep up this insane pace and don’t burn myself out too quickly.
