After the National Geographic series I wanted to experiment with something larger, but quicker and easier to construct. The base of the TIME-LIFE series is whole pages from a single book, trimmed to the same size and taped together, overlaid with the title of the publication.
For MAN and SPACE the title lettering was overprinted on the pages with an inkjet printer. The publication predates the Apollo 11 Moon landing, giving it more focus on the experimental, dream-chasing character of spaceflight at the time.
